Rehabilitation Programs Division
Staff Training and Development Department
RPD training is available to all TDCJ treatment facilities as well as contracted vendors providing treatment services to TDCJ. Program Supervisors are welcome to host any of the available classes to suit their individual facility and staff needs. Most classes are held at no cost to your department, however under certain circumstances classes must be performed on a cost recovery basis.
To maintain minimum class sizes, hosting facilities may be required to admit TDCJ and contracted staff from other areas to enter onto their facility. Likewise, Program Supervisors may request that their staff attend training in other facilities as needed. TDCJ standards for conduct and dress will be strictly enforced.
