Summary | ||
These points need to be in mind all the time you are on the unit. Be aware of your surroundings, not complacent. The greatest risk to your safety is to view your visit as routine. A well mannered offender may become hostile in an instant. This hostility may escalate into a fight among offenders in seconds. Riots, fires, and hostage situations can occur with little warning. You can help to insure your safety and the safety of all in the unit if you promptly report anything unusual or out of the ordinary |
