Note: Indigent offenders can be subsidized for one (1) polygraph test per year with approval of Specialized Programs. All subsidized requests shall be sent to Subsidy.Request@tdcj.state.tx.us Please note that when requesting subsidized polygraphs, the requestor will need to provide the company name instead of the examiner’s name.

A second subsidized request in the same fiscal year can be submitted for offenders who are high risk on the Static 99. In the event an offender’s polygraph test results indicate deception or are inconclusive, the cost of the re-test is the responsibility of the offender unless otherwise approved by the Program Specialist.

Several polygraph examiners have agreed to travel outside their home area to conduct polygraphs. However, to utilize their time wisely, they have requested that multiple polygraphs be scheduled for the same day. Your assistance with the scheduling of a block of exams is greatly appreciated.
