The Central File Coordination Unit (CFCU) coordinates the movement and maintenance of approximately 220,000 case files of offenders under Parole Division jurisdiction. Staff responds to requests for case files by delivering those case files to multiple sources including Institutional Parole Offices, Parole Board Offices, Review and Release Processing, the Hearing Section, Attorneys General, Executive Administration and any other entity that has a right to the information.
The CFCU tracks and verifies restitution owed by offenders, processes fee affidavits, processes case files on the offender's discharge date, updates OIMS, replies to requests for file material via FAX or email and responds to Open Records Requests, Business Records Affidavits, Expunctions, Subpoenaes and correspondence. The unit also maintains the Trial Officials database.
