Childress Distribution Center

The Childress Distribution Center is located at the T.L. Roach Unit, northwest of Childress, Texas. The warehouse has 120,000 square feet of storage space, and ships and receives excess inventory from other Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) warehouses, goods from other state agencies, Texas Correctional Industries’ products, and distributes soap products to 23 TDCJ units in Region V.

Outside vendors or shipping companies with deliveries are required to contact the warehouse staff to set up a delivery date and time. Failure to make an appointment may result in refusal of shipment delivery.

From Childress:

Take Hwy. 287 north to FM 164.
Turn left and continue until you cross the railroad tracks.
The warehouse will be the first building on the right.
