Application Status

  • How long will my application for Correctional Officer remain active?
    If you applied through the regular applicant process, your application will remain active for one year from the date of your interview. If you applied through the College Program, your application will remain active for one year from the date of graduation from the college training program.

  • How will I know if I am hired and when I should report to the training academy?
    You will receive a letter by mail with instructions regarding when and where to report for training. You should receive notification about two weeks before your scheduled reporting date. Be sure to let us know immediately if you change mailing addresses.
