The Fusion Center serves as the centralized hub for the collection, assessment, analysis, and dissemination of gang related and security intelligence information. Operationally, the Fusion Center includes: maintaining an information clearinghouse to collect and appropriately process relevant TDCJ gang and security information and intelligence provided by security staff and law enforcement agencies; providing informative, timely reports and assessments through comprehensive security information and intelligence analysis; and increasing networking interactions and relationships among security threat group (STG) staff and law enforcement agencies.
