Payroll Processing Department

The mission of the Payroll Processing Department is to process all payroll transactions within federal, state and agency guidelines, maintain deductions and direct deposit instructions, complete all required payrolls and distribute payments accurately and in a timely manner.

The Payroll Processing Department issues salary payments for approximately 38,000 employees in excess of $1 billion annually.

All salary related personnel issues are prepared in compliance with state and federal regulations, and submitted to the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts for payment processing.
