True, it violates policy.

An employee is violating policy when she passes out an Avon catalog to fellow co-workers during regular working hours. An employee during working hours cannot use state time or property to further one’s personal business. This should be done during lunch or non-working hours in the parking lot in one’s car or at a designated meeting place. Please review the Opinion found at the end of the training regarding this issue. Please note this does not only include Avon, but others such as Mary Kay, Tupperware, Home Interior, etc.
