TDCJ staff supports SECC,
holiday fundraisers

Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) employees are proud of their long history of providing generous support for charitable causes. This year's successful State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) along with holiday fundraisers and gift drives organized by TDCJ staff prove that this tradition of giving lives on. Thanks to all who contributed to the SECC and helped make this a happy holiday season for the less fortunate.

Employees from the Hilltop and Mountain View units participated in Food for Families, collecting almost 800 pounds of food and raising more than $600 for Coryell County neighbors. Parole Division District Resource Center employees at the Houston VII office kicked off a Thanksgiving food drive they dubbed Harvest Time on Hamilton Street. Staff members identified nine parolees whose families would benefit from food donations. Parole employees hope to make this an annual event.
