If you are a supervisor, have your employees been provided with the most current information? If the answer is no or if you don’t know, be sure and watch for the new training being offered by Human Resources and Staff Development entitled “EEO and Sexual Harassment Training for Employees.”
This highly interactive training includes role-playing, group discussions, and other activities relating to perceptions and actual case studies. In addition, each participant receives a workbook full of valuable information, “fill in the blank” sections, questions and answers, and areas to write additional notes and ideas. The workbook is designed to be a useful resource long after the participant has completed the training.
This new course follows the recently developed “EEO and Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors,” which has been provided to supervisors across the state during the past several months. Both courses reflect the agency’s dedication to having a workplace free from sexual harassment and all forms of discrimination.
The importance of providing employees and supervisors with current information on these subjects cannot be overemphasized. Employees and supervisors are urged to be on the lookout for when this training will be available in their area and to take advantage of this opportunity.
