It’s important for employees to have current address on file
It is very important to have a current address on file with the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). By updating your mailing address and your e-mail address, it will enable you to receive important information about your benefits from ERS during the plan year.
There are several ways to update your address. Choose the most convenient way for you and start receiving your benefit information in a timelier manner.
Update Address Online:
Log on to www.ers.state.tx.us. Click the link “ERS Online Log-In” and then enter your USERID and password. The system will navigate you through the edit and update process.
Update Address at your Human Resources Office:
Your Human Resources Representative can provide you with an Insurance Multipurpose form to complete. To update your mailing address and e-mail address, check the new address box in Section “A” of the Insurance Multipurpose form, complete the appropriate information, and then sign and date the form. Once you submit the completed form back to the Human Resources Office, the information will be updated into the ERS Online system.
It is also important for TDCJ to have your correct address for any employment-related communications. Your Human Resources representative will assist you in completing an Employee Address Change Form (PERS-60) to update agency records. Once completed, the form will be forwarded to the Payroll Department for processing.
