Director of Health Services receives recognition


Dr. Lannette Linthicum and Texas State Senator John Whitmire

Health Services Division Director Dr. Lannette Linthicum was recently honored with recognition from two associations of criminal justice professionals and the Texas Legislature.

The American Correctional Association recognized Dr. Linthicum with the prestigious E.R. Cass Award for her integrity and innovative leadership in correctional health services. Dr. Linthicum also received the Coalition of Correctional Health Authorities (CCHA) award for outstanding leadership. As an additional honor, the CCHA changed the name of this award to the Lannette Linthicum Outstanding Leadership Award.
