EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.
BACKGROUND: In addition to six years of prior experience on the Board of Pardons and Paroles (1995-2001), Ms. Tauss has served on numerous state boards and commissions, including the Texas Lottery Commission, Justice for All, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Victim Services Advisory Board and Galveston County Juvenile Justice Advisory Board. She also is a past member of the National Crime Victims Association, the Texas Economic Development Council and Texas Salute to Military Service.
