BACKGROUND:
Over 22 years of experience in the criminal justice field, with 14 years in TDCJ-Parole Division positions including Parole Officer, Sex Offender Unit Supervisor, and Program Administrator overseeing the Internal Review and Field/Specialized Training programs. Served nearly eight years with Texas Lottery Commission Enforcement Division performing intake duties for complaints and investigations. Elected to two terms on Elgin City Council (2007-2011), serving as Mayor Pro-Tem in 2010.
