2008 Governor's Criminal Justice Volunteer Award
Robert Ronson, Private Facilities Contract Monitoring/Oversight Division
Robert Ronson has been a tremendous asset to the Chaplaincy program at the Kyle Correctional Center since April 1990. He has faithfully conducted Protestant worship services at the facility each Sunday morning and a Bible study each Wednesday evening. His commitment to this ministry is exemplary and he is highly respected by staff and the offenders he ministers to. Robert Ronson's commitment to volunteer service is an inspiration to all and he is very deserving of the TDCJ Private Facilities Contract Monitoring/Oversight Division award.
